West Virginia is a great state with a lot of history. This state is not only 'Wild and Wonderful' but is also full of loving people. The mountainous beauty consists of gorgeous rivers and streams that could go for days, and hills as green as the grasses.
And you think, "Why should I come to this state?" "How could this be any different from every other state with grass?" We're about to show you why! When the modern person thinks of West Virginia, they picture coal mines, hillbillies, and natural forestry. Our luscious and plentiful forestry takes up 75% of the land. Sixty percent of the foresty is oak-hickory forest type. You might be taking a country drive down through a country road and see all types plants in there natural habitat. Speaking of things in there natural habitat, our rivers are gorgeous.
Tourism in our state may not be the same as you may think like the Grand Canyon. Our tourism on a sunny day could go mountain biking, white water rafting, or rock climbing. On a snowy cold day you may go skiing or snowboarding. Our natural features can be hills, caverns, or even natural minerals from the Earth. Coal and oil are natural resources that come from us everyday to help the world. Although these may not be as pretty as a field of flowers but it still is a resource.
